The course is spilt into 07 modules
- Module 1: Introducing managing safely
- Module 2: Assessing risks
- Module 3: Controlling risks
- Module 4: Understanding responsibilities
- Module 5: Understanding hazards
- Module 6: Investigating incidents
- Module 7: Measuring Performance
Assessments
Part 1 assessment: Learners will take a final test at end of the course
- take a closed book test in multiple choice format and achieve the minimum marks โ this is 36 out of 60 at the end of the course
Part 2 assessment: Learners complete in the workplace and returned to the training provider within two weeks
- do a risk assessment and achieve the minimum marks โ this is 23 out of 38.
Certification
To be eligible for a Managing Safely certificate by IOSH, learners must attend full course and pass 02 assessments
